In life we are sometimes required to do things that we are afraid of, and that we would otherwise avoid at all costs.  On other occasions, we are required to do things that we want to do, yet we also want to avoid at all costs.  We fear the outcome.  We do not know what will happen, and feel that the end will not be pleasant.  Yet still, we must go through with it for the hope of a better future.  To stand tall and do what is required allows us to maintain our dignity and self respect.  If we are victorious, we will always look back upon the event as a great event and one that we are thankful for.  If we fail, we will forever remember it.  We may wish that we could have acted differently, that we had waited, or that we had never been faced with the challenge.  However, we do know that it was necessary and must recognize it as such.  When experiencing these events, we must always make the journey alone, in the cold darkness that permeates our hearts and our minds.  And, we can never know the ends to which we march.

Just a quick note.  I do not recall if I mentioned that during the summer there was a girl that I was trying to ... to... "make time with".  This would have been a good situation, etc. etc., but she had a boyfriend.  There is much that can bee said about what I did and did not do, but they don't really matter.  The point is that she, as I found today, is engaged.  I am still working on my current project with someone else, and this development has no impact on the current situation.  It is odd though, that over the last three or four considerations and pursuits that each one has ended up getting engaged to someone else.  I have talked about this phenomenon before, and there is nothing more worth saying about it.

 I haven't posted in quite some time, primarily due to these excessive examinations and nutty professors.  I have been listeing to the radio to get an idea of what is going on in the world.  I could coment on it, but I do not have time; so, I will post two simple yet important entries from the Bill of Rights.

Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.


Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
